Hey, is anybody out there bloggin'? I just set mine up as an invitation from the Wild Rose Press, and would love to hear from someone. Guess I'm the newest blogger. I can't believe I did this without help.

Hello and welcome to the blogging world! I didn't see anything in your profile earlier. What's this about Wild Rose Press? Are you a published author with them?

Hey Maw Finn,

Finally got a comment. Yes, I signed a contract a few days ago with the Wild Rose Press. It's my first book. A historical fictional novel (1938) setting. Only today I received an emai from the company containing the picture of the book cover. I am so excited! It's like birthin' a baby. The labor is hard, but it will be worth it.

Birthin' a baby, hard labor? Nice analogy! I like it. You should tell others about your "labor" on your blog site. Post about your writing experience. You may get more comments if you share more of yourself. Oh, and congratulations on the book! What an accomplishment!

Hey bloggers,

This blog has lain dormant for a month. Does anyone know it exists? Even maw finn has deserted me.

My book "Journey to Forgiveness" by Laurean Brooks is off to the press. It will be out in e-book this fall, and in paperback come spring. Wow! It was a long labor of love.

ratpack04I am so excited, you guys. My first book is about to be released!

"Journey to Forgiveness" will be out in e-book on November 14,2008. For your download visit The Wild Rose Press link on or after that date.

The book will be released in paperback around May 15, 2009. If you would like to read the blurb, go to www.thewildrosepress.com and click on "Coming Soon" on the left side of the page. When it opens, click on "inspirational." At this time "Journey to Forgiveness" is listed at the top of the page.

Oh wow! KY Girl. Just got this comment. I never use this blog. Somehow I accidentally created two blogs. This one wasn't getting any attention, so I started using just the other one. Here's the right link.
